Looking into buying a new bike. would love some inputs please

Hi,
New here. Decided to join to get some info.

I'm currently in the market for a single speed/fixie.
I owned a cheap Walmart single speed a couple years back and loved that thing to death! Loll
Anyways I no longer have and looking into buying something good.

I'd like to keep my budget at $500.

I was looking at State Bicycles and the Kilo TT
I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to bikes though and I'm hoping you guys could help out.

Is thre any other bike out there in my price range I should be looking at?

Thanks

I understand the tedious questions being asked in the ss/fixed forum can get annoying, but to Scrod, your posts have become as dumb as the questions being asked.
Don't know if you are a mod in this forum, or not, but you are clearly not an asset to this forum. 75% of your posts are worthless, ignorant comments. You should be guiding people in the right direction, to a form of cycling they are interested in, but clearly you do not. I'm sure if posts in the Retrogression thread were asked about parts, your posts would direct the member in the right direction. I have bought from you, and going forward will look else where to purchase.

Dude, I made a light-hearted joke. What exactly did you add to this thread (aside from your lame attempt to personally attack me)?

Read through the 344-page Ask Scrod thread and try telling me I'm not an asset to this forum. I double-dog dare you.

If it was a personal attack, I apologize Scrod, as my words might have been harsh. I can't PM due to my post count. I understand that your demeanor is such on this forum, and understand that there are a lot of repetitive questions being asked. You have assisted me on the AskScrod thread, as you have a lot of knowledge, and I do appreciate it. But as a new member to this thread and outside of your 2 threads, you don't to give much positive input. Like I said, the repetitive dumb questions being asked are as dumb as your posts or joke as you call it.
