Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

When I look at your other posts, they all seem to be deleted. Why is that? Is it there something wrong with the BF search or is it because you are a shill and trying to cover your tracks?

edit: I guess it was the former because you do seem to have legitimate posts.

Haha yea not sure what's up with Search. I have issues finding my own threads and posts! I keep getting "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

Had to look up 'shill', definitely not one. The company i mentioned is local and if they're good, I'd prefer to support a local business. That's all

PS: thanks for the link to my other thread. Had lost that one

For the record, when I go to my profile and look at recent threads started by me the most recent is 1/18/14. I've started a whole lot of threads since then and some are still active threads. I think there is some deeper database problem with this forum. I believe that even more strongly by how many times I try to log on and get database error messages and the pages won't load

I hadn't heard of them but would be interested to hear more from anyone who does give them a try. Gotta love the 'free shipping anywhere in CANADA' - don't see that one very often.

Sup with dem top tubes? 52cm gets a 552mm top tube while the 55 and 58 both get a 554mm top tube?

Are they just hoping you are so high on maple syrup that you won't notice?

Hey man, all I care about is that stand over height.

The search function here is broken more often than not. For several weeks now, it's been unable to locate any of my posts more recent than January 2104.

That would be sort of a Matrixy phenomenon if it could.

That would explain it, then. But it doesn't find anything newer than January 2014, either.

Got a chance to see and ride a Moose bike a few weeks ago and I thought it was OK. Nothing special. Nothing stood out for me. The finish was OK. All the components seem to be generic Chinese stuff. Seen worse, seen better too. I guess that puts it around low end to maybe middle of pack max. I saw a State Bicycle Co. brand bike at a LBS and theyre probably on par in terms of ride and "feel". The Moose are $200-250 cheaper than State's though so better bang for buck there. States are grossly overpriced for what they are IMO. I'm from Canada, LBS list them at $600-650

Anyway, just thought I'd report back. Still hunting for a SS/FG
