Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Beware Fixed Gear Frenzy

Just wanted to reiterate this forumn post - https://www.bikeforums.net/singlespee...renzy-com.html

I should have checked this site before buying from them. Places like Evans have stopped selling as many single gear bikes as they used to and this place seemed to have pretty varied stock
The communication between sales team and buyer is terrible, upon not answering emails about a bike ordered and its manufactures setbacks for weeks and weeks I had to request a refund to get their attention. They then offer an order change for a bike that costs more than the one ordered – What customer would ever want to give a company more money after iffy service? We went with a cheaper one and they offered us some rubbish lights to make up the difference. So we wanted a £25 refund on the bikes difference, we didn't get the refund. Still waiting for the bike after the last email sent two weeks ago.

Yeah just stay clear of them - I should have noticed all the thumbs down the current reviews have got on their site.

Anyway take care people.

Never trust a website with a dumb name. Should have just posted this in the first thread though, no need for 2.

yeah silly name should have given it away. The thread seemed to go off topic.I honestly just want people to stay well away from the company. For anyone wondering see your bank about a charge back it can be used up to 120 days after purchases - it will at least freeze the amount in their account until the matter is resolved or thats what the bank has told me.

I'll let people know how this is resolved. There are lots of really annoyed folks on their facebook page at the moment. Kids that didn't get their birthday presents, penguins getting colds -- terrible stuff.

I mean, IDK. It's hard to tell without proper research. The first time I went on BikesDirect I thought the name and site looked pretty sketchy.
