Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Is this headset complete?

I bought this new headset from Retro a few months back for my Bianchi rebuild. Anyways, the headset was on my desk, in its plastic case. Came home one day to discover my toddler (aka. Chipper) decided to do an "inspection" of it and all the parts were dumped all over the floor. Me thinks I am missing a bearing. See pic below and let me know. I am getting close to starting this project.

Looks like you are. Top row is bearing, top cup/bottom cup. Bottom row is crown race, little thingy that goes on after top bearing, and star nut/top cap. Definitely missing a bearing

If you don't have two bearings, you are missing one.

I figured as much. Anywhere I can get the second bearing without buying the entire set? My lil' fellow is quite the busy guy.... he prolly has it stashed under the mattress in his crib.

Any bike shop should have one.
