Keirin/Clamp on Brakes
Ugly as hell? Or is it just me? I just got mine in the mail and feel like drilling the fork now.

I have the EAI/Promax aka just Promax one from Ben's Cycle. My fork is a bit wider than both the oval and round clamps they provide so I had to alter it by rearranging the clamp. With that there is a bit of flex, movement at the joints and it's a bit sketchy. But its just an extra safety measure for me. I do wish I had bought a new fork instead of getting this brake.

This is how i had to set mine up. The worst is with Ben's, once you mount it, you can't return it. That's a problem if you need to mount it to actually figure out if it fits...

Yeah, I might have my terminology mixed up. Yeah not at the clamp but if you see in my above photo, at that joint.

Yup. That was the only way. Any photos of yours fitting fine in the correct manner?
Edit: Good call, I could probably just cut the tips off so it does hold onto the fork clamps.

after looking at your photo maybe you can shorten that section you flipped over a little and turn it back around. you might gain some stiffness that way...

I believe that little section is also inplace to prevent the bolt from directly coming in contact with the fork. Which is does in my case, and I fear turning it too tight incase it dents the fork...
