Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Frame with 32+ tire clearance

Looking at *new* SS frames with 32+ tire clearance. Ones I can think of are:

Surly Steamroller
All City Big Block
Kona Paddywagon (?)

Any others I'm missing? I've got a Wabi that's supposed to clear 32's, but it's not even close.

Pick any company that offers a SSXC, FGFS frame, or SS mountain bike frame (or any subset of a MTB frame).

The paddywagon frameset can run 32's front and back with ease.

It's a bit obscure and produced continuously with little change since '08 so you might be able to get a used one for cheap.

Hmm it looks like they're made out of reynolds 520 now too.

On One Pompino. I fit 32's easy enough. Could probably fit 35 slicks
