Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I feel like there is a catch... Windsor Knight

Sorry for being a pest... I was just wondering...
I found this frame/fork on ebay (and it is actually slightly cheaper on the sellers main page) and was wondering, "whats the catch?"

I looked into the frame online and I did not hear anything negative about it, in addition the seller has a good reputation... but I fell like there is a catch because of its price:

New Windsor Road Bike Aluminum Frame and Carbon Fork | eBay

hmmmm

thanks in advance

Vertical dropouts, unless you're gonna SS with a chain tensioner or apply some expensive/fancy parts for fixed gearing it's not worth it in any relevant way to this subforum. Do you want to build a decent road bike? If so it's a great choice. However, I'd get my frame here instead. BikeIsland.com - Bicycle Parts, Accessories and Clothing at Affordable Prices with Free Shipping (Same seller, direct, cheaper)

There is no catch. Cheap aluminum, cheap carbon, vertical drop outs.

In your other thread you stated wanting a lightweight durable steel frame, presumably SS or fixed. This frame is not that.
