Same thing as Nagrom. I put aluminum foil under the insole to cover up the goddamn hole in the sole. I hope this gives me a little longer before my toes go numb.

get a pair of these bad boys? I don't think you need full booties but man, worth the investment.

That was an option, but I want to see how much of the issue the ventilation hole was, and how much covering that up helps. Also, aluminum foil is cheaper than a toe cover.

Will Speedplay Zeros work for fixed gear riding? I use them on my roadie, I could get a set for the FG and use the same shoes.

I 'm finishing up the Schwinn which will be my primary bke, but I do enjoy riding the big cruiser bike sometimes, I have no idea what pedall thread is on there, I think it might be a chinese bike, it's got horrible pedals, on the Schwinn I have Atom 440 pedals, and I have clips but clips and straps only, as heavy as the westport is, it's a really good workout going up hills with no gearing, I use it for strength training, the only thing it's good for
