eBay seller: CINO59 ~ Anyone Buy From?
Feedback aside, I'm wondering if anyone's bought from 'CINO59' and if so how the transaction went.

yeh. i bought a gitane track bike from him in november for my boyfriend (at the time). i went easy on him in the feedback but i found him to be rather inaccessible via email and then was really rude to me about making the money order certified -- g-d forbid he should have to trouble himself to get paid! slow in delivery, too. but once the bike finally DID come it was packaged well.

Yeah, well the auction he has for the Schwinn Madison is kinda fishy.
He auctioned off a few months back and I wanted to buy it. But when I asked about the c-t measurment he said it was packed away and couldn't get me that figure. I assumed he was just too lazy to measure it...
He pulled the auction but now it's back up and decked out with even cheaper components.
So if my assumption was wrong, he "unpacked" the bike and outfitted it with different cranks, stem, wheels, ect.
Weird. And the $35 packing fee, WTF?!

One time somebody took over two weeks to pay me, so instead of priority mail I shipped the item first class as a way to keep three bucks for the inconvenience he caused me. He still got the thing that week. He filed a complaint with eBay, saying that I inflated the shipping cost by almost 400 percent. Over three bucks.
If you don't want to pay the shipping and handling fees, don't bid on the item. This seller sounds more elusive than I like my eBayers to be, so I'd certainly avoid him.

Yeah, the S&H isn't my biggest concern since it is spelled out.
My concern is the larger issue of the seller's credibility / attitude.
Also, the selling of crappy road bike conversions advertised as "track". The seller sells a few real track bike from time to time (remember the broken blue Cannondale) but often they're just cheap-o conversions.

Oh yeah, that was crazy. He/she kept trying to pawn it off.
Much like the Schwinn, I recall the components were altered between eBay listings. Kinda shady.
The track/fixed bubble will burst soon enough. Think I'm wrong? Just for a sec, recall the boom & bust of the skateboarding industry.
