Is my chainline really bad ?
I dont know why. But there is no way to get a better chainline.
The crank is already close to the chainstay. And my actual bottom bracket is 111mm Iso
I just swapped the crank from the FSA Gimondi to the MICHE Primato Advanced
Same problem...
But when riding. I just hear nothing. A very very little noise. Like the chain is stretching.i do hear it only when going in silent places. Its not too big otherwise it will drive me crazy. Im just worried if it will ruin my chainring or sprocket..
I do keep my chain really well tensioned by the help pf my surly tensioner. About 1/2 inch slack
chain is not centered with the chainring and is doesnt sit in the center of the chainring. Is that a problem relative to bad chainlines? By the way i run a long chain, it is helpful to a bad chainline

You should be all good. Track cranks matched with the correct bb spindle length on a track frame with a rear track hub will ALWAYS be fine.

i think a 107mm Iso BB will not fit as chainring bolts will hit the frame. The actual BB 111mm to the frame.

I have tried the MICHE 107mm JIS as default BB for the miche crankset.
It was way too short. And left cranks were to close to hit the frame . Too bad
I think a 109.5mm BB will be the best BB i could fit in there, but i dont find one selling this length.
but the difference is only 1.5mm from my actual BB that fitted great. The 111mm iSO

Also, Miche Primato BBs are adjustable from side to side to overcome chainline/clearance issues.
Maybe he's just a hee haw.

wait i was under the assumption that miche is switching over to jis square taper.... Even on their website its labeled as needing a jis bb.
uhhggg there website isnt working correctly...

I have fit the miche BB 107 JIS
But chainline still bad. And the 107mm JIS is not long enough for the non-drive side. So left crank will hit the frame

Rear sprocket is not aligned with the front chainring

When I was changing my crankset awhile back and considering whether to cheap-out by keeping my old bottom bracket, I searched all over this place before deciding to get the correct ISO BB to go with my cranks. But something that stuck with me from discussions I found on the subject was that in at least one instance, someone pretty well thought of around here supported interchangeability of ISO/JIS:
As expected, you obviously know much more than Sheldon Brown on the matter of ISO/JIS interchangeability.

from your "Pictures" it doesnt look like you have any slack in that chain at all, it looks tight which can also cause noise.
loosen it up a bit, quit worrying about noises so much. my chainline is off by 2 to 3mm and no problems.
this is my chain slack, some may say its too loose or maybe not enough ?? but i have zero problems. no binding ect. **** before i ran a biopace chainring which is of an oval design so when i adjusted for chain slack i had to adjust from the tightest point "without binding" because at another point on a biopace is very loose by design but not intended for a singlespeed but for a bike with a chain tensioner
