You put a disc brake in it, duh. It says on their site that it's designed for a disc brake for your tarck bike. Uci won't allow them in road so marketers have to sell them to someone.

Hmm just got around to click about the product page and it's BB30 too... would be nice if they developed some hologram track cracks specifically for this frameset.

You've had one too many PBRs. That Technology ad copy is generic to the entire CAAD10 line, and only applies to some models.

They needed to use threaded adapters in that BB30 in order to use the Omnomnoms.

A friend and I were complaining about the ~1800MSRP but then I remembered we've got 10 years of inflation behind us :/ The '03 & '04 tracks with DA cranks & DA wheels had an MSRP of $1400, which in '14 dollars is $1750.

This frameset looks so weird. Why does the headtube have a road looking angle?

Cdale used the same fork as that year's road models (I assume for cost saving measures) until '10-'11 when they had these heavy aluminum forks that look similar to something Leader used to make. That means that the '03 and '04 models has forks which actually curved backwards slightly from the head tube. Later Capos like '07-09 (?) had forks like in the top photo.

Hey that middle one is mine! Part of the visual difference might be that the CAAD10T has a tapered head tube. Here are a couple geometry charts: 2004 2009

But to answer your question, yes, it is a Capo painted similarly to a Track.

Took me a second to realize that it's a tribute to its predecessors, not a Leader painted to look like a Pista Concept. I literally hit 'edit' the second i posted. Well played!
