    Non flip flop hub?

    Hello,

I tought myself how to lace wheels and have rebuilt several times with no issue.

So now I want to built a single speed rear wheel either using so deep v or fusion rims I have.

    My question is...

Can I buy a singlespeed only hub? I built a wheel using a flip flop hub, double butted spokes and a nice rim and I built several 8/9/10 speed wheels and some disc wheels

But I will be honest my experience with SS/Fixie is down to that one wheel I built.

It was stolen along with the rest of the bike.

I did not want that SS/Fixie bike until I started riding it. (It was a bunch of traded parts thrown together)

So today I found a frame and fork. I already have a dynamo/drumb brake hub for the front wheel. I get cost plus 10% on DT, Wheelsmith, some other spokes.

Most major brands of hubs will be the same.

Wondering if anyone can tell me if I can get a decent not too expensive non flip flop SS hub.

    Thanks

Also please dont tell me this or that about this or that brake or no brake being unsafe.

Don't know any in production off the top of my head, and don't know why you'd want one either, but there are these things that kind of accomplish the same purpose: Halo Fix-T cover | Retrogression

You can also get a single-sided track hub and thread a freewheel onto it without any problem at all, but that's probably way too easy.

It's a question about a rear hub? Why would anyone start talking about brakes or brakelessness?
