Anyone thought of doing this before? Kinda neat...

I talked to one of our employees, about this, after he accidently started to install a set of tandem cranks(Spiders both sides) on his single speed this past saturday. It would look cool but the only advantage I can think of is reduced drivetrain load and you could do that with cogs as well.

?? the folly could be even sillier if you put a free wheel on only one side.. or how about..

I'd look it up but I think I'll go ride instead.

Man....That's a lot of real clean chain.....

I think that would be pretty cool, just for the fun of it. Might reduce the backlash in the chain too, if you used a double sided fixed arrangement.
