I just bought the spanner from John at Business Cycles...awesome service and super fast shipping to my APO address...

He's got these:
Hozan Lockring Pliers - For applications where some grunt is necessary - $34.50

I have the Hozan pliers. They work great. Good for bottom bracket lockrings too!

the park lockring wrench sucks. stay away.

Thanks for all the input guys. I have the park one and it really stinks. Cheap stamped steel crap.

Never found a lockring plier that I liked, I use a butch wrench thats 1/8" thick mild steel, and when Im really pissed I clamp it in a vice and turn the wheel.

I have had slippage with every other method. including the fancy hinged lockring wrench.
