Chain lock through the drive chain is an interesting lock technique on the first one. I like "No bike" sticker right next to the rear wheel on the second; and corpse bikes are sad

Always liked the shade of blue on this Wabi. Desert Turquoise, I believe it's called.

Neither SS nor fixed, backward OURY mountain bike grips, plastic pedals, and zipties-o-plenty. Nasty.

You rarely see anything good on the street around here, unfortunately. I think people with anything decent know better than to leave them locked up outside.

Yeah, that's one of the worst uses for a Bare Knuckle I've ever seen.

This Cinelli has been popping up at the coffee shop next to my work everyday now, I took a picture today because of his horrible lock job. Nothing like carrying around a ten pound chain only to have your bike stolen by a fifteen and a multitool.

I was in Chicago last weekend, and in Wicker Park particularly, couldn't believe how many bikes i saw with super short straight bars. Like, just a grips worth of bar on each end. Wtf.

Yeah, it's bad, we call them sucide bars. Everyone in this city either rides an Aventon with bullhorns/pursuits and a front aerojoke or a steel frame with suicide bars. I saw a guy with suicides riding brakeless with no foot retention the other day. Lots of fools out here.

We call such people, temporary Australians. In your case, it'd be temporary Americans.

Ordinarily yes, but these two are fortunate that they're locked up somewhere that's crawling with security (visibly so). One would have to be pretty strung out on crack to attempt to jack anything near here.

Agreed. It's a little too nice to be treated like a common delivery or beater bike.
