I can't quite get whether your answer to the question means that you did actually measure or if you were just trying to be cute. But the fact is you should measure yer sit bones, if you have not already, otherwise you are just guessing and may well find that your next saddle does not fit you either...

I used a wooden yardstick.
Got where I was right on the edge on one side and then marked the other end with my finger.
seemed like I was coming up with the outsides at 13cm.
Figured that would at least give me some reference.
then when I laid the yardstick across my current saddle, I could see why it was uncomfortable.
Tte Charge Bucket isn't a VERY wide saddle but it is wider and the sides are built up.

We'll see...it's coming to me already.
I'm trying to NOT just go to a big gel comfort saddle.
More worried about the shape/dimensions at this point.
If the Bucket doesn't work out, at least it looks cooler and I'll get more practice pedaling while standing up!
I have to factor in that I am not a conditioned Cyclist...any saddle will hurt a little for a while.
But the stock SE saddle is bruising me right where my leg meets my pelvic joint (bottom inside) as my sit bones are straddling the saddle a bit.
If I hit a (small) bump without carrying it on my legs, it hurts.
My last bike had a big tractor seat on springs and the bike had a big spring on the front forks

The Charge Bucket is a BIG improvement.
You can see that the taper towards the back is wider so it doesn't cut into my joints.
Also the sides are built up higher instead of sloping down like a banana seat.
Just need to darken it a bit so the 'carpet matches the drapes'
