Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

You talking about the SMG? because the six-speed with the BMW SSK and ZHP knob was fantastic.

So now even this thread has become a "let's discuss anything except single speed and fixed gear" stuff. **** it, I'm going to spend my time in the Lawn Mower Forum, where at least the peeps there stay on topic.

Yup, I'd rather walk to my destination over driving that awful SMG.

I might have done it a little differently, but that bike doesn't look like it's going anywhere provided it's not left there overnight or long-term.

I assume s/he couldn't get the u-lock around the post because it was too big.
