Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? @kevins08 would you mind posting a few more pictures? You missed a few angles of the bike.

That snark seems unnecessary.

I like the bike but feel it could benefit from a nicer saddle.

@leegf

Thanks. I know Origin8 gets a bad name, but i actually quite like the saddle and have been pleased with the quality of most of their products ive encountered. It just happened to be the best looking saddle for a reasonable price that i could get through the suppliers at my bike shop. That said, we just got a new account and there's a Soma Kamasori in the bikes future.

I actually like it a lot, quite comfortable. I havent done any super long rides on it, but regularly get in 30 or so miles and have no complaints at all. I built this just as sort of a fun project, but it has ended up being one of my favorite and most used bikes.

Wow!

I am truly impressed when someone on the Internet man's or woman's up and realizes that their behavior was not needed! We all have bad days, and we should own them.

Great job!

That pic is not doing the Cdale justice. Check out the pedalroom on that beast. So nice.

A little hint, wider the bar, the shorter the stem.

Love the color, pretty wheels, nice build -- but why does the top tube need protection?
