Catlike helmet owners?

Anyone know if all the catlike helmets fit the same as each other? Or do some have different fits?

Can't tell, I've only owned the trypophobia inducing whisper plus.

BUT from owning other helmets I can vouch that they do run a tad smaller than competitors. Which in the long run keeps your head from looking like a mushroom while wearing it.

Do you prefer the whisper plus to other competitors? I was looking at the kompact. Looks nice and is decently priced.

I actually prefer my giro aeon more
At least in terms of my head, it fits better than whisper especially on the sides.

You should check out specialized's helmets as well. Some people, not me, like their helmets.

Yeah I haven't tried on giro yet. They are on my list. I was only considering the catlike kompact because it is the only helmet I've ever seen that I thought actually looked good.
I'll have to try on some giros though, even though my heart is set on the catlike.

I'm pretty sure RetroGression stocks Catlikes, and they're in SD as well.

I like my cheap Specialized Echelon, it fit better than the more expensive Specialized models. It amazes me how expensive some of these helmets get for the minimal weight savings you gain.

On that note of price. Another good thing to keep in mind is that helmets are designed to be disposable. Bearing the brunt of an impact by sacrificing themselves. If you're willing to buy such an expensive helmet be aware that when it does serve its intended purpose in the event of a crash, you'll be out a helmet and in sorts need another.

I lost my matte white whisper this way.

That's why I was asking about fits. Retrogression has the whisper plus but none of the kompact.

Totally worth it though i bet. I'm not worried about losing a helmet from a crash, I'm just hoping to not have a bad crash in the first place.

Damn straight. No regrets on losing it, it was a noble deed on its part.
