Not sure whether to go with a plain matte black carbon fork like this one... Aventon Ultimate 1.0 fork | Retrogression
Or to get a Super Pista fork, which can only be had in the celeste color and has a glossy finish. Excuse my piss poor photoshop skills, I just laid it on top

Should I rebuild the wheels on my Paramount with Phil hubs?
The bike is temporarily out of commission (BB replacement) and the Suzue hubs need some bearing work.

Been on the hunt for a matte black carbon fork with a 30-35 rake to replace the stock one on my Pista Sei Giorni. Unfortunately, everyone is sold out of the best options like the Columbus and Sventon. The All City looks nice and is available but it's glossy black. All-City Thunderdome Carbon Track Fork in Tree Fort Bikes Road Forks (cat1372)
Anyone have any luck using fine grit sandpaper just to take down the clear coat to a matte finish or do I just suck it up and keep it glossy?

Ye olde Windsor, it's too small for me (at least 4 cm), do I sell it, trade it for something bigger, or build it up as a beater?

Still kicking.
Should I go for a ride right now?

Still kicking.
Decided not to, on vacation and too many drunk drivers out.

I have one of these.
Lasts for a couple hours, really, really bright, and the velcro case the battery comes in is pretty nice. It uses the same sex connectors as magicshine, so you could use the new magicshine batteries if you wanted to.

I've had this particular one for a month. I had an eBay light before that with the same light, but different battery and case.
This one's battery is much more robust and seems like it's full waterproof. The case the battery sits in that goes on the bike is much more sturdy and we'll built, with 2 long velcro straps.
The negative reviews on the light seem to have responses from the seller too, which is probably good if you have an issue.

Should I replace the perfectly good silver Sugino 75 crankset on my celeste 2006 Pista Concept, that is now converted to a full time road bike with the hot new Sugino DD75/Zen crankset in black to match all the other black parts on the bike ? Or, should I just replace the existing unsealed Sugino BB with a Tange-Seiki sealed BB to make it more suitable for road duty ? I was thinking that if I remove the original Sugino 75 crankset, I could reuse it as an upgrade to the Andel cranks on my Wabi Lightning with the Tange-Seiki BB.
