Any members local to the Raleigh NC area?

    Hi all,

New member here! I am a college student with an interest in cycling for fun/exercise. Recently I have been purchasing components to build up my own bike, and am getting near the end of the list.

I have debated both doing it on my own, and paying a professional to put it together. What I was wondering was should I choose to have a professional do it, is there anyone local to the Raleigh/Cary area you would suggest I go to? If it matters, the frame is a serotta TI/Carbon frame.

    Thanks!

I'm out in Carrboro... we have PAR Cycles for a high-class shop. I would send you there.

Welcome abe, there's a co-op close to Peace College (Blount St side - kind of behind the Krispy Kreme) that I've wanted to check in to. I'm a good ways out of Raleigh but I have a brother and 2 daughters there so I'm often in town. I want to learn wrenching and they might help you with your own build. Let me know what you find if you decide to check them out
