Riding Around Williamsburg?
Mrs. Box is going to a convention in Williamsburg around April and I might head down with her. Any good riding in the area? I know of the Capital Trail and I might try that out.

I biked from Williamsburg to Jamestown. It was on a parkway with no trucks.

I have been on that trail but on the other end (Richmond). We plan on doing the whole trail someday but we are newbies and will have to work up to it.

The Colonial Parkway Williamsburg to Jamestown is nice do to it has a middle passing lane and the speed is 35 mph and no trucks but the road surface is concrete with brown river stone in it so fatter tires are better. A road bike is ok, but lots of vibration will be transmitted to the seat and handlebars. The Capital trail is very nice as others have said.

Anybody in the area going to be around next weekend to ride? I'll probably be riding the Capitol Trail on Saturday in some capacity.
