If you want a better contact try www.swampclub.org
Places to ride in TPA and surrounding areas.
Morris Bridge and Trout Creek (a.k.a. Flatwoods Park)
Alafia River State Park (my closest trail and favorite places to ride)
Carter Road Park (over in Mulberry)
The T.O.E. (must be a member to ride. Lots of elevated trails and a DJ park - check out www.ridgeriders.net)
For a road trip, definitely hit up Santos Trail in Ocala (WORTH THE TRIP) www.omba.org
While up there you can hit the trails at Razorback in Reddick, FL (don't laugh- that the actual name of the town)
If you're into racing - www.goneriding.com or www.redtrailracing.com
Most have trail maps and directions.
My rating if I could ride anywhere in a blink of an eye!
1. Santos
2. Gainesville (only open race weekends)
3. T.O.E.
4. Alafia
5. Carter Road
Just North of Gainesville is San Felasco as well.

I think Boyette is vastly underrated. Never crowded. You're often the only one there. Miles of singletrack for cruisin' and a few tricky spots for advanced riders.

My second favorite is Croom. There are 50-some miles of trail here. Just be warned, the area is open to hunting. It is currently small-game season I think, so you should be ok, but wear bright clothing!
