Brandon's Birthday Ride to ELAM N8 Cancer Saturday, March 17th, 2007 Start Time: 9:00 AM
Brandon's 16th Birthday is on March 17th. Brandon has been fighting cancer for the past two years of this life and the inspiration for the "Booty for Brandon" team at 24 Hours of Booty. This ride is a fundraiser for Brandon and his family, and 24 Hours of Booty.
The ride leaves from Porter Ridge High School near Monroe, NC at 9:00 AM on March 17th. Route options include 5 mile fun ride, 20 mile, 40 mile and a 62 mile loop out through Burnsville, Unionville, and Anson County.
The event is sponsored by Harris Teeter, so look for lots of great food and cool raffle prizes after the event.
The Elam family is requesting birthday cards for Brandon. Their goal is to have TONS of cards for Brandon to open on his 16th birthday! If possible, please enclose a photo of you and your family. Please mail cards to:

Hiya, PAlt! <wavin'>
Long time no see post! Haven't seen you on the Charlotte Area Riders thread in a while! We're gonna have another lunch soon. I've already met with two BF'ers who work in the downtown area twice for lunch. If you'd like to join us next time, schedule allowing, just let us know!
Workin & Lurkin...Lot's of training for events this summer (RAIN, BOOTY,etc). Posting occasionally on 50+, Road, and Long Distance. Lunch only on weekends, work Uptown, but on a trading floor, so lunch is always a scarf down at my desk. If you're at the ride next weekend perhaps we can say howdy's for a bit. Don't know how I'll be decked now but know better as week & weather progress. Saw you're kicking in Hickory, keep at it
Not there - training sched. says 4 hrs with some intervals on the 24th. Got a coach who's kicking my tail so I'll be in shape to do these summer distance events. I'm either going to able to fly by July or the best looking 51 yr old corpse you've ever seen
