Columbus GA, anyone want to ride w a beginner

I just got a road bike a few weeks ago and am loving it. Looking for some people to ride with (riverwalk, etc). Wondering if there are any organised rides where a beginner would not get in the way. Looking to do BRAG in the summer if I can get in good enough shape by then.

Hey Rachel and welcome.

I think Mike's Bikes does a regular Saturday or Sunday ride - maybe an after work ride as well. I've run into a few riders from the shop doing a Sunday ride to Pine Mountain.
Stop by and meet the crew and get the details of their rides.

Thanks for your help Ron. That happens to be where I purchased my bike and they are very nice people. I did the baby part of the Wheels of Fire (26mi) this past Sat and everyone was really nice and helpful as well. Love your signature--I am a tattoo artist. I knew one tattoo wasn't enough, but I hope I don't need more than one bike anytime soon...

Thanks.
Got any bike or tattoo pics to post?
Here's a thread in the SS & Fixed forum with LOTS of tattoos. Did you do any of these?
Show & Tell your ink

There's another tattoo thread in the Foo forum but I couldn't find it.
