!!NEW!! Durham Bike Co-op

Hello friends,

Just wanted to let you know of the newly-created Durham Bike Co-op!
We are a non-profit, membership-driven, consensus-based organization.

The Durham Bike Co-op will be partnering with Bull City Headquarters, another local group creating a community center, performance venue, and art gallery at 723 N Mangum St, Durham.

We are a project of the SURGE (Students United for a Responsible Global Environment) Network, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, so donations are tax deductible.

If you are interested in finding out more about the Co-op, especially if you want to be a volunteer member, please come to our next monthly meeting: Sunday, March 4, 4:00p.m. @ Francesca's on 9th St.

TONIGHT! BCHQ opening night from 5-midnight - swing by and check out the new co-op space.

Representatives will be on hand (and some performing) at the Grand Opening:
-featuring live music by Eberhardt, Dead Elephant Bicycle, Mandarian Dynasty and more!

The first full day of operations for the Durham Bike Co-op is scheduled for Sunday, March 25.

Stay tuned!

A news crew from NBC-17 is coming to interview a few of us tomorrow a.m. - I'll try to get a copy of it, even if it doesn't air.
