Buyer Beware Harrell's Bike World

I went here by bike while riding to get a bottle, a computer, and maybe a helmet. I asked if he could look at my gearing because I just adjusted them and they were not quite right. He said to pull the handlebar bag off and then it started to work. All he did was tell me to not use my handle bar bag. He charged me 10 dollars for that information when I was rung up. All he did was look at it and tell me to stop using my handlebar bag and he charged me 10 dollars. I will not ever go there again.

Sounds like a rip off.
We don't charge a customer unless we actually do repairs or adjustments, and that's generally free if we don't put the bike in the work stand.

Yea, so what are you supposed to do with your bag at that point... ...? A bag issue maybe means that it's pressing on a cable or causing some other flex in the cables, probably not a hard issue to diagnose. It might take some time to fix, but really nothing hard. Sounds like that guy was being lazy and not trying to earn repeat business.
