Hey, warrenl! Long time, no see in BF, baybuh!

Hm. I know some of those roads. I suspect I'd have to stick with the 25- or 48-mile option, but that looks interesting.

I need to start ridin' with you guys again, if the afternoon/evening storms will stop rolling through.

More than welcome .... I have been on the road so much that riding has suffured. The next few weeks I should be able to make most of the Monday, Tuesday and Thursday rides. Riding this afternoon (Sat 3:50pm) with Roy and Butch as long as the weather holds from Forestview HS.

I still want to do a TT, just got to get work to cooperate.

There are another ten TT's in this area: three more (USCF-licensed) in Asheville, two more in Rock Hill, and five more at LMS. I want to try to do them all!

I do hope you'll get a chance to try one, especially at LMS. But I warn you, it's addictive, and you'll want to do it again!

Yeah, I'm thinkin' now that the 25-mile option might suit me well, given that most of my TT training rides are about that distance at a fast (for me) pace. Thanks for postin' this event!

Man, it doesn't get much better than that--a charity bike ride to raise money for animal rescue? That's two of my passions in one.

But my wife's working that day so I'm on baby duty, and Gastonia would be a little far to travel. :-( Maybe next year....

This is a great ride. Well marked course with some good climbs - especially at the 50 mile mark - and pizza for lunch. If the weather is good, has the makings of an epic day. Plan to do the 65...
