Bicycle Friendly Community Workshop in Roanoke Jan. 8
Thanks to Roanoke cyclist David Harrison and other Roanoke bike advocates, the Bikeleague will be doing a Bicycle Friendly Community workhop in Roanoke on Tuesday, Jan 8, 9am-1pm. This workshop is targeted at government officials and staff in Roanoke and the New River Valley. All are welcome, but space is limited and priority will be given to government officials and staff. Details are posted at the VBF website.

With the great weather around yesterday, they should have added a "climb Mill and Roanoke Mountain" workshop to the itinerary.

rnhood, we almost had that. We had a great ride Monday, 32 miles through Roanoke and surrounding roads, including the Blue Ridge Parkway. We had to climb a bit, and the descent was fun too.
There's a summary of the workshop on the VBF website.
