Greensboro to Chapel Hill...
I'm hoping to ride from Greensboro to Chapel Hill sometime this fall and trying to figure out the best route...any route suggestions would be appreciated.

Any route would have to involve Route 54 I would imagine... at least there's a shoulder for most of the way. Not sure of the best way to get to 54 from Greensboro... Good Luck!

+1 I've done that route from Chapel Hill to High Point G'boro-chapel hill rd T-> hwy 62. You could come down Old 421 to julian. Alamance Church would be a little shorter.

Adrian Hands has a number of NC routes posted, including one from Raleigh to Greensboro. That should be pretty close to what you're looking for, or do a general search on Bikely for other routes.

Check with the folks at roadskater.net. They are inline speed freaks who play in traffic in the Greensboro area. The proprietor of the site, Blake, is very helpful (and bikes as well).
