1. Local tend to stay away from International Drive (I-Drive) the overcrowded and overpriced tourist mecca other than the occasional waterpark. Likewise with the second mortgage to go to the theme parks. As far as discount tickets, assumed they came with the travel packages that brought the tourist in, however, there are a lot of kiosk on I-Drive hawking discout tickets. Don't know the value of the tickets at the kiosk but the Florida resident 'specials' as a joke - around 5% off.
2. I know a couple out around me on the east side, put don't know their policies - loaner weapons vs bring your own. If there is one on I-Drive would probably cater to tourist and have loaner weapons. Just check the yellow pages and call a couple of places.
3. No bike shops out close to Disney - closest would be Bike Works Metro West store on Hiawassee.http://bikeworks.com/index.cfm
Three that are more central and close to each other are:
a) Orange Cycle - oldest shop in area, single location, large, Brands - Cdale, Specialized, Raleigh and others. http://orangecycleorlando.com/index.cfm
b) Davids World - main store about 3 blocks from Orange Cycle - the Trek dealership http://davidsworld.com/index.cfm
and about 2 miles away is c) Glory Cycles - well known for mailorder which it started as, the expanded to an LBS - Colnago, DeRosa, Pinerallo, Orbea, Blue and the only Campy dealer. http://www.glorycycles.com/
Few places rent bikes. About the only one I am aware of would be at the SR50 trailhead (County Line Station) of the West Orange Trail (42mi one way). A few low end road bikes, a couple recumbents, but mostly hybrid/comfort bikes NOTE: The northern section around Apopka can be a rough neighborhood. http://www.dep.state.fl.us/gwt/guide...est_orange.htm
Also, if you go the opposite direction from the County line trailhead towards Clermont - on roads off trail - that is a hilly ride. Also, if you are going to be there November 18th that area will be quite congested as it is part of the route for the http://www.horrible-hundred.com/

. The floridafreewheeler site also lists rides for other weekend and had maps of rides for the area.
Probably want to get a GPS unit with your rental car.
