Kicked it at 18.5 all the way to work and there was no one to ride with, but since I'm still hurting from sunday's fixed 60 miler I only rode home again (at a bit slower pace this time).

I managed to fit in 13.4 miles today in between thunderstorms. Didn't ride yesterday as I am still nursing our old doggy back to health. She had to go back to the vet and get admitted yesterday, so I spent the morning there. Hopefully she will be home again tomorrow.

26miles yesterday evening. Boy I sucked. Got split off from the front group, and the rear one shortcut the route so I rode about 2/3 of it alone. I certainly could tell I hadn't ridden in 10 days.

Managed 22.4 miles today, nice morning. Won't ride tomorrow as I have to take my parents to Tampa Airport. Maybe Friday!

3 miles

I took a three mile ride today around my town. The weather was really nice today, not all rainy and stuffy like it has been for the past few weeks.

I rode 25.2 miles this morning on the Withlacoochee Trail. Hardly anyone out there, although I did have a large deer cross the trail a 100' or so in front of me. Nice morning for a ride.

Rode a short round the block on my road bike for the first time in years. (had been riding a hybrid for the past few months) Forgot how to slide my foot out of the toe clips and feel over at a stop sign. At least the neighbors have something to laugh about for a while.

19 miles this morning... excellent weather. Stopped at a yard sale and bought a cup of lemonade from a couple of kids - was very good, made with real lemons - even had some floating in it. Chatted with their folks a bit and continued on my merry way. first ride in weeks.

The temperature was only in the hi 70s and the humidity was VERY low when I left home.
Did my usual 27 mile loop. At mile 12.7 the battery in the transmitter on my front fork went dead.
Met up with another cyclist on my way home. Rode together for about 10 miles. It was nice to ride and talk with someone.

I rode 22.4 miles today, only got rained on once for about a mile. After the rain it dried out, but you could see the rain clouds all around. On the way home I rode slower than normal to give a big, black and ugly cloud up ahead time to move on. I am going to try a little longer ride tomorrow, if the weather and my legs cooperate. This was my first 100+ mile week in a couple of years, need to be careful not to burn myself out.

21 miles this morning. Stopped at the store on the way home and found out a carton of eggs fits in my jersey pocket.

An organized 65 miler today with more climbing than this FOG likes. Flatted about 3 miles in, so rode by myself for too much of the ride. Isn't the no-drafting thing supposed to make me stronger? It ain't workin'.

I rode around the neighborhood today because of the rain. I've been working on my sprint a lot lately anyway so big loss.

The weather this weekend has been fabulous! Rode 22 miles this evening. I haven't been able to ride for a week (since the 61-mile GA 400 Hospitality ride). I really felt it today but was glad I got on the road again.

45 minutes with a 30lb toddler in the kid trailer. Went out 25 minutes and turned around. she wanted her "hat off" at around 37 minutes, so the ride home was a little whiny. She was excited when we got back home though, told mom "I ride bike with hat on!"

finally! but, maybe my first ride back shouldn't have been with Dallas....my legs felt great, my lungs not so great. i got dropped. came to a point where the guys could've taken the left or right fork....i chose right. they chose left. ended up with around 32mi/1:40hr with the majority of it solo.

Did a nice metric Sunday with about 200 other riders (in the NCBC Summer Rally), though only about a third did the metric route. Elevation gain was around 2500 ft as this route was hilly. Overall it was a good ride as the temps didn't get warm until the last fourth of the ride. Average speed was 17.4, which was pretty good for me.

Finally, a spectacular cool and sunny morning! Rode 22.4 miles, I won't reveal my average speed though, it is too pathetic!

There is no such thing as a pathetic average MPH im opinion. The fact that you did 22 miles and were constantly moving forward would be considered by many quite an accomplishment. I don't consider MPH a necessary stat to judge a ride by. I do keep track of MPH on my ride log but it is not an important stat. I also admire the hammer guys that I see on my ride and sometime I try to run them down but it is not important in the big scheme of things. Just MHO...

The usual 32 mile Tuesday nighter. Dropped again, but held on longer tonight. I've slowly worked myself from a solid B- rider down to the C's. I need to ride more.
