Lewis Grizzard Memorial Bike Ride

South-side Atlanta.
The ride isn't until October 5. I guess they want to get people registered early (I received a registration form in the mail last week). In past years they had to compete with BRAG's Georgia Bike Fest, which is held in the Newnan area in early October, and usually lost out.

I did this ride the last two times it was held (2000 and 2003/2004?). It's a great ride. Well supported and beautiful scenery riding through Sharpsburg, Grantville, Moreland, Senoia, etc. I'm planning on doing it again this year (I need more t-shirts ).
Here's a link to the registration form.

Hope to see ya there.

I'm from Sharpsburg and used to ride many of the roads used for that ride. It's alot of varied terrain without a whole lot of traffic, although there is more than when I lived there.

Thanks for the link. This'll be a fun ride later this year, and I'm planning on being there.
