Too many rides on October 4/5
Which should I do?
The Lewis Grizzard Ride
is awesome. Great scenery on low traffic country roads. I rode it in 2000 and 2003.
I did the Tony Serrano Ride
the first year they held it (2004), less than two months after Tony was killed. In 2005 they moved it to rural Walton and Morgan counties. The drive from my house isn't that far but it seemed like 100 miles. I left the house at 6:30 a.m. and got there just before the ride started.
The Saul Raisin Ride
is also on this weekend. Don't know much about it but the riding around Dalton is great and it sounds like a fun weekend.
I'm sure I'll discover a few more rides before I finally decide on which ride to do.
The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. - Psalm 103:8
