Carolina beach in June
I will be traveling to Carolina Beach for vacation on June 7-11 and plan on taking my road bike. Does anybody have any ride suggestions or cue sheets? I have never been there and don’t know the area. Thanks in advance for your help. Anyone interested in riding together? Happy Memorial Day to all!

One fun ride is to follow 421 south to its terminus, stopping by fort fisher, watching the sailboards and kite surfers at the end, then getting on the southport ferry (1/2 hour) for cheap, and riding to southport for a nice river view, historic district, and lunch at the provision co., then return. The nice thing about the ferry ride is you can show up right at departure time and get on, no waiting in the long car line.

I went to Carolina Beach for Vacation 2 years ago. 421 South to the ferry to South Port and back is a great ride. Just be careful of the people in vacation mode and not paying attention. Have Fun!!!
