There is a poll set-up option at the bottom when you start a thread.
You might want to delete this thread and start a new one.

I tried that and it didn't work. Old fart, challenged, numerous head injuries. Just choose 1 or 2 or 3 (none of the above).

Velo Vol, make a case for Tennessee. Aren't you firmly in the South? I'm thinking a Mid-atlantic subforum would include Delmarva, DC and possibly West Virginia. I would be posting polls addressing West Virginians, Dalawareans and Marylanders right now, if I knew how.

Mid-Atlantic is traditionally considered to be Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.

Virginia is just over 100 miles from here.

In my opinion, the riding here is more similar to Virginia, Maryland than it is to Florida and Louisiana.

I guess what I'm getting at is the present Southeast subforum is too big.

As a non-Virginian I'd be vote yes for them to be moved to the mid-atlantic.
I kind of agree with Velo Vol that the SE is too big. Though I don't want Tennessee in the Mid-Atlantic. Perhaps breaking the Southest into smaller more localized subforums would be ideal (ie Carolinas & Georgia, Florida, Bama & Mississippi, Arkansas & Lousiana, Tennessee & Kentucky. That being said it takes about 2 months to bump a thread from the first page on the SE forum so apparently there is no demand for it.

Southeast should be smaller.

I vote "1"

Moving to the Richmond area in July, so #1 for me.

And they should break the SE into Dixie (SC, GA, AL, MS) and the rest...

Well, welcome to Richmond, almost. Check out RABA (www.raba.org) for great rides every day on every pace. I like your idea about Dixie, although once you get to Richmond (Capital of the Confederacy, after all), you may want to add Virginia.

I dunno, I think part of Virginia belongs in Mid-Atlantic, and part belongs in Southeast.

Why don't they just have the states (including DC) listed alphabetically and do away with the regions altogether? It would be so much simpler that way.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Before everyone gets all excited, there is no proposed MidAtlantic Forum. There has been a request from a handfull of posters to create one, and I told them how to go about it. They need to develop the community to support the forum, like CLydesdale/Athena Subforum did, by starting out with a thread and build a community. If the traffic will support it, then we'll be able to see it,, and when the traffic can support it, we'll revisit this.
