Cumberland State Park Resort in Kentucky--Road bikes possible?
So I have a "camping" trip coming up end of May with the in-laws at Cumberland State Park in Kentucky. I really want to bring my bike and go on little rides here and there, but my husband doesn't think there are paved roads, and it wouldn't be good for the bikes. Since there's a "resort" there I would think the roads would be paved and there would be a lot of them. Has anyone been there to know for sure if it's worth bringing my bike?
don't try this at home.
I haven't been there, but Google Street View shows some of the park roads. Yes, they are paved. A lot of them are dead end roads, so they should be low traffic. It looks hilly, though.

I didn't even think of Google Street View! Thanks! I don't mind hills . . . any excuse to get away from the crazy in-laws!
Is this the same park that has Cumberland Falls? If so yes it does have paved roads. I nearly froze when I camped up there a few years ago. Went to bed it was about 60. Heavy storms, soaked through the tent, woke up 35 degrees. Very pretty place.
