    Commuter to work

    Hey there,

I was referred to this forum from the introductions. Just wanted to say Hi! My name is Todd, I'm 16 and I go to Dr. Phillips High. I do XC and Track and am just trying to save money through biking to work at Sea World (About 7 miles). I haven't bought a bike yet but I was planning on going on Thursday to see some shops downtown or over in Winter Garden. Anyone else in the same area?

    Thanks,
    Todd

I've had several since 1999 but have settled on my beloved 2001 Litespeed Tuscany and my latest, a 2015 Cannondale SuperSix EVO carbon

Welcome . While you're shopping the different bike shops, why not visit Orange Cycle on Edgewater Drive in College Park. When I lived in Orlando they were my favorite bike shop.

+100, inventory is impressive and they shine in fitting and accessories. Also Locomotion - both locations, never mistreated me on service, David's World - College park - 2 blocks down from Orange Cycles. Kyle's Bike shop - very down-to-earth folks. Not impressed with Bike Works Metro West tho. Visit the station on the west end of West Orange Trail - rentals and repairs and overall nice bunch.

    Good Luck

I was planning on going to Orange Cycle tomorrow. They have some good deals online! That's where everyone has recommended I go!
