Columbus Riverwalk Trail in Columbus, GA
 

Can someone tell me where the start of the trail actually is? Maybe some driving directions too, or the GPS coords. I've looked at a bunch of websites that tell of the trail, but nothing in the way of directions. Also, I keep getting conflicting mileage on the pages. Some say its 22 miles, some 21, and down to 15.5.

I want to say one way is 15.5. usually it is an out an back trip I ride there 3 to 5 times a week. there is a small break in the trail where you have to ride on city road for about 1/4 mile then get back on. couldb't build it becuase of historic restricts in that part. an the damm near the lake. the normal starting point is at the marina on victory drive. and then head towards ft. benning.

My daughter and brother-in-law will be coming to Columbus with me on the last Saturday of the month to do the trail. I'm looking forward to it as well as seeing the Infantry Museum.

well the infantry museum is at the right there at the a crossing point of the trail. near lumpkin rd.
