No ride again today, weather was fine I just had to many other things to do. I am going tomorrow come h_ll or high water. This years mileage is going to be much lower than last years. My goal for 2011 will be to set a record mileage year .

No commute cause I'm off till next year!!!!

I did ride a little. Some on the $40 Trek 420 I bought Sunday and some on the way too small (54cm) Cdale R1000si I bought this morning for $180 (it was a $2200 #2 in line in 2001 Campy proton wheels, Utegra shifters and derailleurs) that I am robbing the good bits off for my CAAD3 (63cm) that fits me. Wish it had been my size.

Tomorrow is suppose to be nice (57f). Hope to get a long ride in. Then time to remodel a bathroom.

I haven't ridden since 12/23. Christmas stuff then COLD weather and light snow. Maybe I can ride tomorrow or Wednesday for sure. Gotta try the new bike since I flipped the stem.

Windy, cool and windy. The wind today was 25-35 mph with gusts. I rode yesterday with 15-25 mph winds and I was getting blown all over the road. I learned my lesson so no ride today.

Finally over the plague. I got in a few miles yesterday but the 30mph gusts were brutal.

I suspect us Georgia guys wont be getting in much riding in the next couple days either. Georgia from Macon north will be closed Monday and probably Tuesday.

I should have gone this morning but the weatherman called for 45% chance of rain, so I took a pass. Tomorrow looks good so we shall see.

Today was worse than yesterday. Everything was iced over so I couldn't even do my non-riding day walk. I tried doing my usual walk but after two blocks of slipping and sliding gave up and went home.
Atlanta was shut down for the second day. It may be shut down again tomorrow. I'm getting cabin fever.

The sun is coming out today for the first time since Saturday. Maybe it will melt some of the frozen snow and ice. No ride today because of the snow/ice and also because it's too $%^# cold. The high is only supposed to be about 29 degrees with 15-25 mph winds out of the NW. Sounds COLD to me.

Welcome twobadfish. I realize that SW Utah, where St. George is located, is called "Dixie" but ......

Why do you hate your bike?

No ride since last Friday (01/07) because of this crappy white stuff and the ice on top of it.

I haven't ridden in almost ten years so I got a hybrid to test the waters. I thought I could ride it for quite a while before deciding on what type of bike I wanted. But the frame was too big and climbing was wayyyy too uncomfortable with the flat bars.

So I'm waiting on a CX bike to get here.

And yes, "Dixie" is painted on the side of one of the mountains here. It has a different meaning where I'm from so I've never been quite fond of it.

High temp here today 54* and winds 10 - 20 mph out of the NW just as bad as yesterday. No ride today perhaps tomorrow.

zzotherlandzz hope you get to feeling better and stop making excuses and get out side and ride.
