Well..... I was up all night NOT feeling well. Took my mom to lunch yesterday at Popeyes chicken. I think we both got food poisoning. Getting ready to call the manager and find out if anybody else has reported anything. I still feel very bad right now....

It was still cool today so no ride. Got up to ~45 but it felt cool. Funny how 45 in February feels much cooler than 45 in December.

No ride today. It's Valentine's Day and our 18th anniversary. My wife asked if I was riding today because the weather is awesome (65 and sunny ) but I told her it was "our day". We went out for a long walk and then a nice lunch. Walking is her exercise.

Down in Charleston SC and it was driving me nuts so bad I hit Craigslist when I got to the hotel and saw an ad early 80's Fuji for $25, in my size and tried to buy it but it was sold.

No ride today even though it was 68 and sunny. I rode yesterday and am slowly getting back in shape (don't ask what shape ) after "the colder than I was hoping for" winter. I'll be riding every other day for the next few weeks.
Today I did yard work. Last spring when I did my "post winter" yard work I was sore the next day. I hope I'm ok for tomorrow's ride.

That and the fact that bike has Chrome forks and it looks like down tube Suntour Powershift and no turkey leg brake levers makes that a solid mid line bike that I could have easily sold for $180 in Atlanta if I didn't love it.

I believe that is a 81 Royal.
https://classicfuji.com/1981_14_Royal...Mixte_Page.htm and it is my size and would have looked nice along side my Touring III

Or will I be a bum and back out if they back out? hmmmmm I'll air the tires up on the Tassajara for one friend to ride... and put the bike rack on the mini van...

No ride today. My wife and I had our regular massages. My muscles are useless after the massage. I'll be recovered by tomorrow. My wife is going to NC for the day with a friend so I'm planing a nice "long" ride.

The weather was awesome so I did my long (and hard) ride yesterday. Today is a rest day.

No ride today. I was "suffering" in the yard. The wife had me planting rose bushes. But that's ok. It was kinda windy too. Headwinds are not my favorite.

I rode yesterday so today the wife and I went to look at a new vehicle for running around town and to haul the bike when going to out of town rides. She said she felt like "being bad" so we had burgers, fries, and onion rings for lunch. Then we went to Paulo's and we each got a gelato. :yum:

No ride Wednesday or Thursday. Spent Wednesday cleaning bikes instead of riding because the daughter wasn't feeling well. Today I spent most of my day at the bank to fix some tax problems. Should get some nice rides over the weekend.

Had a great ride yesterday.
No ride today. The wife and I went to the Silver Comet Trail and .....

..... walked. That's her kind of exercise. The weather was awesome (low 70s) and there were hundreds of cyclists, lots of little kids on bikes, maybe a dozen roller bladers, many joggers/runners, and several other walkers.
How do people ride up there with all that congestion?

In reply to the walking thing.... see my signature lol ..... Even though its not totally true.. seems like I'm always walking my MTB over, around or through something...

I had plans to ride this afternoon but about the time I was going to head out.... People started showing up... <sigh> And then it was dark...

Didn't ride Saturday. Ran errands and cleaned up my bike work space. Had a nice 20 mile ride Sunday.
Suppose to get some sever storms today so I'm driving in.

You must have been down in Smyrna. I dont get on till Paulding Chamber trail head and do a 39 mile loop out to Rockmart and back. Lot less people in that stretch and Frankie's for Lunch!

No ride today either. Cool and very windy. But I did pick up the Specialized at the bike shop for tomorrow's ride.

Sorry to hear about your wife. I hope all is well with her and you.
Will you be doing the Withlacoochee ride with your daughter or by yourself?

Ron, thanks for the thought. I will have to pass on the Clean Air Ride this year. Although the wife is home now she is pretty dependent on me to keep things moving forward at this time. I can get away for 2-3 hours for a local trail ride but an all day trip is pretty much out of the question for the next couple of weeks. I have my eye on the Cycle Flagler ride in April as my next organized ride. I hope you have great weather for the Withlacoochee ride and enjoy your stay in FL.

Sorry we won't get a chance to meet and ride.
Not sure how enjoyable it will be. We had originally planned on coming down to visit my wife's 87 year old aunt and I'd do the ride while we were here. Things change. She has been falling a lot lately and was put in a nursing home recently. When I'm not riding we'll be cleaning out her house and getting ready for a yard sale and getting the house ready to sell.
Our plans: work -- clean -- ride -- eat seafood -- repeat. We'll be there until 3/22 or 3/23.
