    Florida State RR?

I noticed on Floridacycling.com they have a state road race listed. I haven't been able to find much about it. Is it a two day race? In Ocala it looks like, I am guessing just some rolling stuff? I think I'll probably end up in florida that weekend visiting family, might bring a bike with.

That would be a matter of perspective. If one is a flatlander, then it'll be a challenging course with no flats and a few sharp rises. If one is used to riding in the mountains, well then it'll be be a fast and fun course that'll shake some riders off on a couple of little rises.

Keep an eye on the site for more info, it'll catch up.

A hilly race is norcal state rr for me in a few weeks, if I do the P1-3, 99 miles and 9k. So, I am guessing just a fast and fun course.

Yeah, for you it might just be a fun little roller coaster of the old wooden kiddie variety.

    Go to Floridacycling.com

Its on the calender for Oct 30, 31, which is later than its been in past years. One day's race is done by age groups. Next day's race is done by Category.

It's a rolling course through horse country. Actually looks more like the Lexington Kentucky area, than it does most of Florida.

There's one "hill" that's reasonably steep, probably 150 vertical feet, and then a number of rollers. No real climbing but enough elevation change make it a hard race.

IIRC, the course is like 10-12 miles, so its a number of laps, depending on category.
You could fall off a cliff and die.
You could get lost and die.
You could hit a tree and die.
OR YOU COULD STAY HOME AND FALL OFF THE COUCH AND DIE.
