I haven't done this ride but I know the area. I looked at the metric century ride and I like it.

My only caution.

If it starts to rain be very, very careful near the mines.

Since it is the first time for this ride, nobody has done it.
I don't know the organizers, but I have a friend in Sandersville who does. He says they are very together folks and he expects it to be a great event. He and his son are riding as am I. Several of us from Milledgeville will be going to do the metric century route. I have ridden many of the roads before and there are some beautiful sections. I'm looking forward to the ride.
