Planning first bike tour thru Central Florida
I'm starting to make plans for my first multi-day bike tour ever. The plan is to drive from Ohio to Central Florida probably near Leesburg, find a place to leave my car from about Dec. 23 until Jan. 1,head south thru Clermont, Winter Haven, Mulberry, cut over to the Sarasota-Bradenton Beach area, try to hitch a ride across the Sunshine Skyway Bridge to St. Pete Beach, then out to the Fort De Soto Park for a couple of days. After that head north back thru the St Pete/Clearwater Beach area where I will eventually head back east to where I left my car. Any comments or suggestions appreciated.

I can help a bit with St Pete/Clearwater and north. Use the Pinellas Trail, some local streets, then Starkey Park Trail and Suncoast Trail to SR 50 and then cross over to the Withlacoochee trail up to SR 44. PM me if you need some additional detail, but that would be my general suggestion. Some local club members use that general route to go to Inverness from the Palm Harbor/Tarpon Springs area.
