Ft. Lauderdale: Bike Rentals
Howdy,
I'll be attending a conference in Ft. Lauderdale for 10 days this July and am hoping to get some riding in. Anyone know of local cycle shops that rent bikes-- not beach cruisers
I can bring my pedals and helmet, but it just doesn't make sense to bring my bike. Thanks!

Alex's is a half hour drive from Ft. Lauderdale, but Downtown is more convenient. I'd check with Big Wheel on Sunrise blvd. also, though I'm not sure if they have a rental fleet.
This meetup group hosts a weekly ride around Ft. Lauderdale on Tuesday nights, it's a fun casual ride.

Hey Scubachisteve: There is a bike shop a little north of Ft. Lauderdale and he's the only one I let wrench on my bikes. He sells alot of used bikes and it's a real one-man kind of shop. It's called Bicycle Spot - 954 772-4909. If you want to ride contact me and I'll see what I can do - what size bike do you ride?
