Bo Bikes Bama

Is anyone going to ride in this:

http://bobikesbama.com/

Sounds like good fun and if he actually did get 50,000 riders to enter Tuscaloosa would that be a record?

50,000 enter T? where'd you come up with that number? But the Saturday [last] into T leg is full, unfortunately. I don't think I can make any of the weekday ones.

I heard a rumor that Lance is joining the Saturday ride, but I have no confirmation of that. And I've also heard that Cam Newton will be riding somewhere, too.

That was on AL.Com. He's trying to get a lot of riders to do the last 3 miles, into Tuscaloosa. Don't know anymore details but since I live in Jasper and am from Cordova, and since my son is a student at UA I'm going to do it, and maybe the Jasper to Bessemer leg too. The way I look at it there will be a ton of media there, and if we can raise awareness of cycling in this state even riding 3 miles is a win.

Anybody doing the Friday leg of this ride, I am in need of a ride to Jasper either before or after the ride. I'm stuck doing the ride by myself because my brother got stuck in Kansas handling tornado damage claims out there (how weird is that). I am in Birmingham and can meet somebody at the start or the finish.

I will pay for gas!

Would love to do it but me and a ladder had a falling out Sunday afternoon. I'm OK, but a badly sprained ankle will keep me off the bike awhile. It's a great cause, ESPN is going to film some of it. Hope you can make it.
