I'm signed up and ready to rock! Disappointed they had to cut out Suck Creek Mtn this year. Feels like we've been shortchanged the last two years now in the climbing department.

I don't expect to do it this year. I was somewhat disappointed the ride was cut short last year, and have never got the excitement back. Maybe next year.

Well last year they had no option because of the tornadoes that went through. This year they have the bridge being redone and so they are having to cut out Suck Creek which is my favorite climb and descent. I definitely feel like this year and last are a bit of a let down.

I'm in!
The only other way to keep Suck Creek Mountain in the route was to include a ride down I24. That would be lots of fun with trucks flying by at 70 mph within feet of every cyclist (not)! TDOT gave us that option. There are not many safe locations to cross the Tennessee River. I am dissapointed as well about removing Suck Creek, however safety was a major concern for the Chattanooga Bike Club. So go and have a great ride anyway. Hopefully Suck Creek will return next year.
