Good shop near Cobb, GA

I found a bike in the Atlanta area, the seller says he's in Cobb which looks close to Marietta on the map. Can anyone recommend a good shop to have him drop of the bike for inspection/boxing/shipping? Thanks in advance!

There are quite a few good shops up on Northside of Atl. I would suggest a quick look in the phone book and if nothing else I know for fact that Performance Bike has a shop up that way. The other one I am aware of they are calling Atlanta Cycling online, but I thought it was called something else right in Vinings.

Russ, there is also Silver Comet Depot on Floyd Road in Mableton (right on the Silver Comet Trail) and Smyrna Bicycles on the East-West Connector at South Cobb Drive (also on the Silver Comet Trail). They appear to be quite capable.

Free-Flite is a great shop and they have a store in Marietta and east Cobb.

My brother shipped his bike from Dallas to Atlanta, through Atlanta Cycling and after our charity ride, shipped it back to Dallas through them. They are great to work with. They have a location in Cobb County and one in Atlanta.

Double the ditto on Free-Flite. They've been around since the late 70's and do an excellent job.
