Thanks for the info PlantU!
I have been training for the Breathless Agony ride, but maybe I should consider all three rides.
By the way, can anyone here offer some insight on what foods will be available at the rest stops? I expect oranges, water and damnation dogs. But will there be sport drinks, nutrition bars and gels? I just want to be prepared.
Safe riding!

The two Planet Ultra events (Mulholland and Heartbreak) will have Hammer products including HEED, Hammer Gel, Sustained Energy and/or Perpetuem and Endurolytes. For nutrition bars we typically offer Clif bars and PureFit bars (as well as granola and fruit bars). We'll also have GU and GU Chomps. Other snacks including bananas, pb&j sandwiches and more are available at stops. Our post-ride meal is provided by Bristol Farms.
Breathless Agony, also part of the KOM Series, is hosted by Kahler Cycling - and may have different food options. Planet Ultra does not control or monitor that.

Thanks for the update PlanetU! A buddy of mine and I have been training on 6 hour rides. Our recovery is improved when we ate peanut butter sandwiches along with energy bars during our rides. Your food options sound great! I just signed up for Mulholland.
Thanks again..
Mike
