Just saw a fwy alert sign while coming home about this closure, confirmed on caltrans/ dot.ca.gov 's site:
This highway information is the latest reported as of Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 22:31 .

[IN THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AREA]
IS CLOSED FROM SANTA FE BLVD /IN BREA/ (ORANGE CO) TO THE
ORANGE/SAN BERNARDINO CO LINE - DUE TO DOWNED POWER LINES - MOTORISTS ARE
ADVISED TO USE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE
I'm not sure how it'll be for morning if you're planning a ride through there. You can check the above site and type in Hwy. 142 for status
